Contact Lenses

Contact lenses provide many benefits and are a great alternative to glasses. Technology today has enabled farsighted, nearsighted, astigmatic, and presbyopic​ patients to enjoy the freedom of contact lenses. To ensure safe wear and care of contact lenses, the College of Optometrists of Ontario recommends that lenses be worn only under the care of a qualified and licensed eye care professional.

The purpose of a contact lens fitting is to evaluate your suitability for contact lens wear and to determine the best contact lens for your comfort and visual needs. Contact lenses are not all created equally — they come in a variety of materials, sizes and designs. Additional testing, that is performed separately from a comprehensive eye exam, is done to determine your candidacy and to achieve an optimal fit.
